The SIMPLOT automatic paw cutter mounts along an overhead poultry conveyor. A shaped positioning wheel guides the ankle area toward the rotary blade so paws can be separated continuously without unloading the carcass.
Blade height and feed angle are adjusted during commissioning for the actual shackle geometry and bird size. Planning capacity is approximately 1,000–5,000 birds per hour; final line speed, guards and interfaces are project-specific.

Joint positioning, blade height, guarding and discharge are commissioned together for the bird profile and overhead-line geometry.
Cuts paws while birds remain on the overhead conveyor.
A shaped wheel guides the ankle toward the cutting point.
Height and angle are set during commissioning.
Cut paws can be directed to a collection chute.
Frame, elevation, voltage and conveyor connection are project-specific.
Values are reference information. Final specifications depend on capacity, product conditions and the approved project layout.
