PRODUCT OVERVIEW & WORKING PRINCIPLE

A configurable conveying backbone for complete poultry processing

The SIMPLOT complete overhead poultry processing line provides the conveying backbone for coordinated poultry processing. Depending on the approved project scope, the line can connect stunning, bleeding, scalding, plucking, evisceration, washing, chilling and downstream handling stages.

Track direction, conveyor length, shackle pitch, drive arrangement and process dwell times are engineered around the poultry species, average live weight, target birds per hour and the available building. Frequency-controlled drives allow the operating speed to be commissioned with the connected equipment.

Planning capacities range from approximately 500 to 10,000 birds per hour. Final output, equipment quantity, utilities and material scope are confirmed in the project-specific technical proposal. Custom layouts are available.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Before you request a proposal.

These answers cover common selection questions. Contact us for a review based on your actual project conditions.

No. It is the upper end of the planning range. Contract capacity is confirmed after sizing the process path, dwell times and connected equipment.

Yes, subject to a survey of the building, clear height, drainage, utilities, access and maintenance space.

Yes. The project scope can cover only the overhead conveyor or a selected combination of processing stages.

Material grades and the exact component scope must be listed in the approved quotation, motors, bearings and other purchased components may use different materials.
