The SIMPLOT dual-heating poultry scalding tank is a compact batch unit used before mechanical plucking. A motor-driven shaft with rubber turning fingers moves birds through the heated water, helping expose the feathered surface more evenly during the selected cycle.
The documented configuration combines electric heating pipes with three gas burners. Water inlet and waste outlets support filling and draining. The correct operating temperature and dwell time must be selected for poultry type, live weight and feather condition.
The planning output is up to approximately 300 chickens per hour. Tank size, heating capacity, voltage and contact-material grade can be confirmed or customized in the final technical proposal.

Heating recovery, batch quantity, turning action and dwell time are reviewed together for the poultry type and required feather release.
The documented unit combines electric heating pipes and three gas burners.
Rubber fingers on a driven shaft turn birds during scalding.
Equipment can be selected for chicken and other poultry after reviewing bird size.
Suitable for small processors and flexible production schedules.
Heating capacity, voltage, tank size and material grade can be discussed.
Values are reference information. Final specifications depend on capacity, product conditions and the approved project layout.
